MHz = RPM ÷ 60,000,000

RPM counts mechanical rotations per minute — the language of motors, gearboxes, and engines. MHz counts electronic signal cycles per second — the language of radio, CPUs, and oscillators. The conversion factor is 60 million, reflecting the enormous speed difference between mechanical systems and electronic ones. This conversion rarely has a direct practical application because mechanical and RF systems never operate at comparable frequencies, but it is valuable in motor control education, synchronous motor theory, and visualising why computers process data so much faster than any mechanical system.
